I'm now a Stampin' UP! Demo!!!

I have started a new and exciting venture! I have signed up for Stampin' UP! and I can't be more ready to get things going! I have thought about this for a long time and I finally did it on February 1st. I have yet to get my Starter Kit and am patiently waiting....In the meantime, I have been organizing my CREATE room and am almost done! I don't realize all that I have until I have to move it....boy am I moving a lot!!! I will post some of the cards and creations I have been working on. I'll keep you posted!

Giving Thanks

It is Thanksgiving week and I'm just thinking of all of the things I have to be thankful for. Family, friends, my health, a roof over my head. This past year hasn't been too great for many - I especially think of my youngest sister who had a lot of damage to her house. Only paying the mortgage for 6 months and then having a huge flood ruin the basement and main level was quite a hard pill to swallow. She is strong and will get through this, but sometimes you just wish you could make it all better. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to host my family's Thanksgiving here at my home. Of course, I had to make the annual Pumpkin Cheesecake. It was quite delicious! It really was awesome to see most of my family again! Love you all!! I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Welcome to Laurie's Blog

Well, I have decided to start a BLOG! I have no idea what I will be posting, but I'm assuming it will be lots of CRAFTY things! I am happy to be on the internet and getting in the loop. I hope that this fall will last longer than winter. I love the fall. It is the BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!! The leaved are turning such beautiful colors and I just want to take lots of pictures. I am excited to share lots of fun and happy moments with everyone! HAPPY FALL YA'LL!
